I have been a professional translator and conference interpreter for more than 10 years. I’m a French native speaker and I have been living in Paris for more than 20 years. I also have a degree in business administration from Neoma Business School, which is why I have specialized in corporate translation and proofreading (annual reports, financial statements, corporate policies). I always strive to perfect my knowledge of the subjects I work on. I also work as a conference interpreter, which gives me the opportunity to work on a whole variety of subjects, ranging from international development to judicial cooperation. Translating and interpreting require a common set of skills, namely a capacity to analyze and synthesize a large volume of complex information. If I had to describe my work ethics in two words, those would be Accuracy and Timeliness. Furthermore, over the past few years, I have started to do post-editing, that is working in conjunction with machine translation. This is a very interesting tool, insofar as it allows the translator to save time and to mobilize all his linguistic skills, in order to provide a human-standard translation. I also use CAT tools, mostly Wordfast. Feel free to ask me any question, should you need any clarification about the services I provide.
