Are you part of the language industry? Are you interested in languages and communication in general? Then you might like to join Polaron’s 7th annual diversity forum entitled Beyond Translations: Exploring the Future of the Language Services Industry.

The event is a collaborative effort between individuals and organizations that care about how people communicate. The forum is open to the public and is free of charge.

What Can You Expect?

Beyond Translations: Exploring the Future of the Language Services Industry is a chance to move the discussion about communication and translation forward. One key section that will be discussed in the forum is the effect of technology on how communication is conducted, including translation.

The forum is the result of the cooperative effort of groups including but not limited to the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia, and the Centre for Culture, Ethnicity, and Health, Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network.

The forum is entirely online and is free to attend. But because the annual forum is quite popular, attendees are encouraged to register early to guarantee their slot. This event is sponsored by the National Authority for Accreditation of Interpreters and Translators (NAATI).
