This is the 12th international conference on language transfer in audio-visual media and the theme is ‘the Fourth Industrial Revolution  − Reshaping Languages in the Media’.

The opening session features keynote speakers David Padmore, from TVT, UK, and Allison Smith from Netflix in the USA, followed by many more industry professionals giving talks on a host of issues from audio description, live subtitling, quality metrics and standards to language variation.
