DRONGO Language Festival 2017

Since the first edition in 2012, I have hoped that ‘my’ DRONGO language festival would bring positive attention to language and the language industry. Language is everywhere which is why we often forget how important it is to acknowledge its value. The DRONGO language festival brings language professionals from different sectors together, as well as anyone who is interested in languages, language learning, translating, how dictionaries are made, or simply, how we communicate. The language industry is booming, and changing fast, and there is a shortage of people with the right education. The DRONGO language festival keeps growing and developing as well.
