9th Annual CTA Conference

The Colorado Translators Association's purpose is to contribute to the language professionals community by equipping them with the necessary professional resources and introducing translation buyers to local language services.  

With the continued demand of translation jobs worldwide, translators remain the number one resource on the translation industry. Thus, conferences are highly relevant if you are seeking to develop your skill set on certain niches.

Colorado, known for its rocky terrain also hosts a multitude of translators and language professionals. The Colorado Translators Association started their annual conference for translators and interpreters back in 2010. From that moment on CTA have successfully hosted seven more conferences, and now in its 9th succession, the CTA annual conference has developed to one of the foremost events for language professionals who are seeking continued professional development. 

The conference back in 2018 drew 85 attendees on its first day and 50 on the following day. It is also the best place to see the leading figures in translation today like the president of the American Translators Association Corinne McKay, who is also the former president of the Colorado Translators Association. The three day event hosts various activities from ensuring the wellness of professionals and business startups to introducing the necessary resources and knowledge to prevail in today's translation and interpretation industry.
