59th ATA Conference

The American Translators Association holds its 59th gathering in New Orleans, Louisiana and offers opportunities for translators and interpreters to connect and collaborate with each other. The main focus of the event is networking helping members to find new opportunities for work and to attend education sessions.

Sessions and networking

There are over 170 sessions on offer, held in many different languages. Translators and interpreters can earn credits and enhance their CPD by attending.

Networking events include a welcome celebration, job fair, brainstorm networking, an exhibition hall, business practices happy hour, buddies welcome newbies, after hours café and many more.

Job fair

Agencies will be attending the two day job fair, looking to recruit new talent. The job fair is a popular recruitment event for the industry and a list of agencies who will be attending is available on the ATA website.
