13th Language Resources and Evaluation Conference

Intended Audience

The 13th Language Resources and Evaluation Conference is open to all those who are interested in languages and language resources (LR). The conference will be tackling the topics concerning language resources and others related to that.

What Can You Expect?

The European Language Resources Association and the Institute for Computational Linguistics

have organized the 13th Edition of its Language Resources and Evaluation Conference to be held on June 21-23, 2022. The conference is meant for discussing Language Resources (LRs) and Human Language Technologies (HLT).

The conference aims to highlight the latest technologies and developments in language resources and follow the latest trends. It is also a platform where participants can share information regarding LRs and tips on how to use those in the most efficient way. The event is a unique opportunity for researchers and practitioners to discuss issues and opportunities in language resources. It’s also an opportunity to promote international cooperation.

Topics that will be discussed at the conference include but are not limited to the guidelines, standards, and the best practices used for LR interoperability, tools used for the creation of LRs, Metadata for LRs, and industrial LR requirements.

Important Dates

Here are some crucial dates for the conference:

• November 5, 2021- Submission of proposals 
• January 17, 2022- Submission of proposals for demo and oral papers
• April 5, 2022- Sending out notifications for accepted papers
• April 29, 2022- The final submission of accepted papers

The conference itself will be held from June 21st up until the 23rd of 2022 but there will also be some pre-conference workshops and tutorials that will be held on June 20, 2022. Not only that but there will also be post-conference workshops and tutorials that will take place on June 24 and 25.
