We are seeking an experienced English to Dutch (Belgium) sworn and lawyer translator for a freelance project. This role involves translating legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with legal terminology, and maintaining cultural relevance in both languages.

Job Description:

• Translate legal documents and content from English to Dutch (Belgium), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Ensure translations adhere to legal standards and conventions in both languages.
• Proofread and edit translations to maintain the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Handle sensitive legal materials with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Native Dutch (Belgium) speaker with proficiency in English.
• Must be a sworn translator or hold a legal translation certification.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in legal translation, with a portfolio of English to Dutch legal translations.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and the ability to accurately convey legal concepts.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Reliable internet access for remote collaboration and meeting deadlines.
