We are seeking an experienced English to Bahasa Malaysia sworn and lawyer translator for a freelance project. This role requires translating legal documents with precision, ensuring accuracy, compliance with legal terminology, and maintaining cultural relevance in both languages.

Job Description:

• Translate legal documents and content from English to Bahasa Malaysia, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Ensure translations meet legal standards and conventions in both languages.
• Proofread and edit translations to meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive legal materials.

Requirements:

• Native Bahasa Malaysia speaker with proficiency in English.
• Must be a sworn translator or hold a legal translation certification.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in legal translation, with a portfolio of English to Bahasa Malaysia legal translations.
• In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and the ability to convey legal concepts accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Reliable internet access for remote collaboration and meeting deadlines.
