We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese to English interpreter based in Kunming, China, for a freelance project. This role requires providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services for meetings, conferences, business negotiations, and other professional events.

Job Description:

• Provide accurate Chinese to English interpretation in various settings, including meetings, conferences, and business negotiations.
• Ensure the accurate and effective transfer of meaning between Chinese and English speakers while maintaining tone, context, and cultural sensitivity.
• Work closely with clients and project managers to ensure seamless communication and high-quality interpretation.
• Meet deadlines and maintain professionalism during assignments.

Requirements:

• Native Chinese speaker with fluent English skills (both spoken and written).
• Proven experience in Chinese to English interpretation (3+ years preferred).
• Strong cultural understanding of both Chinese and English-speaking audiences.
• Ability to interpret both consecutively and simultaneously in a variety of professional contexts.
• Based in Kunming, China, with reliable internet access for remote work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
