Job Description:

• Provide accurate and effective interpretation between ASL and spoken English during various settings, including meetings, conferences, and events.
• Ensure clear communication and convey cultural nuances to all participants.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other interpreters to prepare for assignments and ensure seamless interpretation.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all interactions.

Requirements:

• Must hold a certification in American Sign Language interpretation (e.g., RID, NIC).
• Proven experience as an ASL interpreter, with a minimum of two years in professional settings.
• Excellent understanding of ASL and the deaf culture.
• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to various environments and topics.
• Reliable internet access for remote assignments and proficiency with virtual meeting platforms, if applicable.
