Job Description:

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Zapotec (Oaxaca Variant) during phone calls.
• Ensure effective communication by conveying messages accurately and culturally appropriately.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to prepare for assignments and clarify any specific requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interactions.

Requirements:

• Must be a native speaker of Zapotec (Oaxaca Variant) and proficient in the English language.
• Holds a degree in interpretation, linguistics, or an equivalent qualification with significant interpretation training.
• Has a minimum of two years of professional experience in consecutive interpretation, preferably over the phone.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and specialized terminology in both languages.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Reliable phone access and a quiet workspace for conducting calls.
